Falls are gorgeous and colorful in Lethbridge. The air is crisp and clear. The skies are blue, the clouds fluffy and light. The leaves are falling and sometimes blowing in a horizontal direction when the winds are howling. Henderson Lake is charming with old trees and paved trails around it. The little island is represented by all the possible fall colors.
I have taken this photo in Yellowknife at Frame Lake. This lake is in the center of town and has a trail all around the lake. It is a favorite hiking and walking trail for the Yelloknifers and for a good reason. The scenery is beautiful with some sandy beaches and rocky parts with fascinating pink rocks. Lots of trees and grassy shores to enjoy on the way. Ravens, jays, beavers, squirrels and waterfowl around.
They call Hornby Island Canada's Hawaii. If you ever spend time there in the summer you understand why. The ocean warms up, especially at high tide and the sandy beaches are gorgeous. The scenery on and around the island takes your breath away. You see bald eagles and hear them talk to each other. You see boats come and go. You see amazing cliffs and various rock formations. Close to Ford Cove Marina you can see these amazing sandstone formations carved out by the waves and the wind. I felt blessed by being able to see this a few times and I am happy to share some of my photos from there.

Someone asked me about my fascination with water. Well, it all started here where I grew up, outside Mohacs city in South Hungary. The Danube River was about 5 minutes walking distance from our house. The river became my favorite place on earth to my mother's disapproval. Many years later, and I am not telling you how many I still like to be close to the water.
I have taken this photo from the sandbanks on the East side of the river. As they say a picture says a hundred words. This captures the beauty, the charm and the wonders of my childhood haven.
God sent us many cheerleaders in the form of flowers and sunflowers are the cheerleaders leaders. The nourishing energy of the sun is reflected in the face of each sunflower. It should be no surprise that they are among the most liked, painted and photographed flowers. I have taken this photo of sunflower field with farm buildings in Hungary's plains, the Alföld.
I just said: say cheese and they all turned at me and smiled.
