It is stunning.
Did you ever take a walk under the full moon?
Did you ever dance un der the full moon?
Did you ever swim under the full moon?
If you didn't, you need to do all of them.

A good walk is a good walk even in the freezing cold, especially when the sky is blue and eagles are flying around.
I have taken this picture down river from Pavan Park in Lethbridge. We are so lucky here in Lethbridge being close to the mountains. Neil and I went to the Castle area to pick a Christmas tree. The weather was good with clear skies and + 5 C. I even did a bit of hiking. This was part of my view of the Castle area.
I was taking pictures of this awesome looking eagle and some snow geese photo-bombed it.
I guess they just had to be involved. You are lucky if you take the time to enjoy nature, the natural cycles and part of that natural cycle is the moon with it's waxing and waning. I saw the moon a few days before full moon and had to take some shots of it.
I dedicate the photo to my friends Nina and Cat. May we all bathe in the full moon together some day. Fall is one of the most colorful times for photography. One day it's all the warm fall colors, the next day, everything is covered in white and after that combinations of everything you can imagine. Sunday was a good day for sunny, warm colors at Writing on Stone with calm waters and nice reflections.
I was taking advantage of the warm weather yesterday with a swim in the Oldman River and have taken some pictures. One of my new favorites is part under and part above water. This picture is one of the results.
This is one of my first photos using my new camera.
It takes amazing macro and underwater photos. I like this one because it is partly underwater and partly above water with the trees and people. Location: Castle River below the falls. |
