Writing on Stone Provincial Park is great to visit any time of the year. Now it's spring time and the trees, shrubs and grass are green. The flowers are blooming and the birds are chirping. The Milk river is fast and the water level is high. Floating on the river gives us a different perspective of these majestic hoodoos. From the water they seem somewhat bigger and more mysterious.

Spring is coming and the coulees are greening up. The birds are chirping and nesting, the pelicans are back. The flowers are blooming and the trees are budding. The High level bridge looks better than ever with the spring colors.  The water looks beautiful at Green Lake with amazing hues of blues and greens. The surrounding trees and the clear blue sky give the water a nice contrast. This photo can be purchased here in a print format in two sizes.  This old barbwire fence needs some TLC. The broken wires and staggering posts give the picture a rustic charm.  |
