St. Mary's River in Spring Time
The St. Mary's River is high and the water is moving with a fast pace creating some rapids that are fun to ride. The vegetation around the river is lush and green. The clouds float by quickly and morph their shape from one image to another. It's a hot day and as always: a bad day on the river is better than a good day at work. (unless you like your job)
Nature is like that old saying in Forrest Gump. Like a box of chocolates; you never know what you gonna see next. A bear, a bird, an interesting cloud. A dust funnel swirling in the air. This Long-billed Curlew flew over the Milk River Reservoir very elegantly with its wide wing span.
Milk River Reservoir in Spring
When you experience the beauty of nature you don't need many words if any. The simplicity, the elements, the wonders and the unpredictability gives nature a sense of magic. As seen in this picture of the Milk River Reservoir and the land surrounding it nature speaks in ways we can see with our eyes and feel with our hearts.
