Cottonwood Park is one of the nicest parks around Lethbridge. Walking in it in October is a piece of heaven on Earth. You can see the colorful cottonwood trees stretching along the river. The air is crisp with a touch of the bitter sweet aroma of the trees and the decaying leafs. The sound of the river flowing over the rocks make a soothing sound. The water is clear with a bit of silt and the color of the river is somewhere between blue, green and aquamarine. Cottonwood Park is worth the steep hike up and down.
