I have taken this photo in Red Rock Canyon in Waterton National Park in Alberta Canada. The rocks are unusual with their red color. The way the river carved it's way into the enormous rock makes this place a must visit place.

I have taken this photo in Lethbridge floating down the Oldman River. The minimal vegetation lets the cliffs be prominent in the landscape with their glorious colors. It is fascinating to see the change in the soil from one place to another depending on the changing mineral content in it.
I have taken this Photo at Waterton Lake National Park in June. The air was saturated with the sweet scent of wolf willow and something else I could not identify. The mountains were just as stunning as in the winter when covered in snow. The lupins formed an unending blue carpet and I had to be careful not to step on them as I strolled around. When I left a gentleman came with his camera and I told him to be careful because he is entering Paradise and he may not want to return from it.
And really this feels like a piece of Heaven, a piece of Paradise. Fanny Bay is where the rugged mountains, the pristine rivers, the vast ocean, the majestic trees all join and create a magical place. Located North of Victoria on Vancouver Island this little hamlet will captivate your heart, lure you with a dreamlike beauty and make you want to stay there forever.
This is the view from Ships Point Park with Baynes Sound and the Beaufort mountain Range with Mount Arrowsmith with it's jagged peaks on the left. |
